Nick Peterson is a British artist who launched his space persona of Virtual Alien "V.A." and Old Nick at the age of 14 in the late eighties. He has released 24 albums and film soundtracks (Old Nick, War of Love, King of the World, LouDMouth, Red by..., The Complete Map of the Universe, Speed of Light ) and many compilations.

After returning to further education in the nineties he achieved a BA in English Literature and Drama and an MA in Interactive Multimedia in 2000. He ventured into the noble Art of directing interactive feature films and documentaries from 2001. Nick painted from an earlier age but quickly moved to sketches as a stepping stone to films. He has directed 24 features films and TV shows.
