About the piece
The photo is one of the frozen lake Baikal series. It was taken during the ice skating journey to the lake Baikal (Russia) in the winter of 2015. Baikal in winter is a real place of power, one of the most extraordinary places in the world.
On the photo you can see astonishing ice formations called "Sokui" - frozen splashes of the water.
Limited edition of 7. Signed and numbered and comes with the certificate of authenticity.
The size of the printed area is 28 x 18,7 in (71,1 x 47,4 cm). All prints can be supplied with an additional white border for mounting and framing (the size of the border is on your request).

About the artist
Evgeny Dubinchuk is a photographer based in Russia, winner and finalist of national and international photo competitions.
Travel, nature and adventure photography is his big passion. He is inspired by exploring new places, different cultures, meeting interesting people. It is also a challenge, because he prefers long-time journeys to remote places. It’s hiking, cycling, skiing, ice skating.
Photography is his way to show everybody the beauty and diversity of the world around us. It allows to share unique moments with others, so people can see and feel the scene the same way he saw and felt it.
His goal is to capture something that causes pleasure from looking at. And it doesn’t matter if it’s a nature or urban landscape, people or animals – it's everyting that he meets on the way and which he finds exciting and breathtaking.
