About the piece
The print is unique and we approach a rendering close to the lithography, but without press. I love searching, and every day of work or daydreams prepares me to receive an idea, to see a detail and to make a creative synthesis. Each work brings its share of innovations, the research of the artist is constant, each work counts in its course and the development of its own technique.

About the artist
Thomas de Vuillefroy is a 38-year-old French painter who lives in Espalion, near Rodez, in the south of France. Formed in a school of applied arts then to the Beaux-Arts in the early 2000s, it is a painter who begins to exhibit his works in France and Paris. Initially attracted by sculpture and modeling, Thomas de Vuillefroy gradually turned to drawing and painting, through pastel, oil or acrylic. And it was by wanting to make disappear works that they considered failed, that he ended up inventing his technique of the scraper. The erasure technique has thus become a revelation technique. A technique that follows a rule and allows him to give each of his achievements in Indian ink strength and uniqueness.
