About the piece
The closing of the past sometimes takes a judge. This work shows the completion of old things in order to start something new.

About the artist
I am a freelance artist from St. Gallen, Switzerland. Painting is so much more than a relaxing hobby for me. It's what I love. I have been painting ever since I was a little girl. As a kid I always took all of my allowance to the nearest art store to buy pens, markers and colouring books. I loved it, giving colourful life to the plain printed images on paper. Or to let my imaginations run wild on plain white paper. In my later years as an adult, I tried many new things, new techniques. I just never used only one type of media and so I began to mix acrylic paint with markers and pens. I wanted to do it differently, and so I tried gradually to master various art styles. Mixing so many materials opened up many new possibilities, but also uncertainty was a constant companion during the process of creating art. But many years later, now I can proudly say that this type of mixed media is me, it’s what reflects me. I love to play with different shapes and colours and I try new things every day. Life has so many artfull things. And I really enjoy turning it into my art, because art is a matter of opinions. My inspiration is the nature and the moments in life. My heart captures the moments, my soul is shaping the image and my eyes and hands will do the rest. That’s how I would describe my style of art.
