About the piece
Still life painting of a Jalepeño with thick brush strokes. Zoomed in so much it becomes abstract.

About the artist
Brian has worked in art, design, and communication arts for 20 years. He loves to try new styles and techniques in both painting and printmaking. He is constantly pushing the boundries of what acrylic can look like mixed with mediums to get a traditional oil feel. Brian also loves to make block prints and relief prints with unique linoleum to get the "dry etch" edge of intaglio prints. Brian lives with his wife (also an artist) and three kids in Lawrence, Kansas. Brian is currently accepting painting and block print / wood print commissions. Please ask how Brian can work with your budget and your needs for a unique piece or series of artworks.
