Brian M. White
Rocky Mountain National Park
About the piece
My wife and I hiked up over 10,000 feet to Mills Lake in January 2016 in the Rocky Mountain National Park. When we drove back the sun was hitting the mountains beautifully and I loved how the valley was framed. This artwork is framed with a hand made pine simple modern frame stained dark brown.
About the artist
Brian has worked in art, design, and communication arts for 20 years. He loves to try new styles and techniques in both painting and printmaking. He is constantly pushing the boundries of what acrylic can look like mixed with mediums to get a traditional oil feel. Brian also loves to make block prints and relief prints with unique linoleum to get the "dry etch" edge of intaglio prints. Brian lives with his wife (also an artist) and three kids in Lawrence, Kansas.
